There are many things that we had to say goodbye to 2013, including the ridiculous fashions as camouflage or hateful songs like the Harlem Shake . But there are other things that we need to give the welcome at this 2014 , one of which is the reopening of Polpo in Soho , one of the best restaurants in the city of London, praised by specialized critics and public, priced more than reasonable.
The first Polpo opened in September 2009 in Beak Street , its premise is straightforward: a humble restaurant, tastefully decorated, serving good food and good wine, what more can you ask from a restaurant?. It seems that this “visionary” idea stalled between London audiences since today have restaurants in Covent Garden, Smithfield and Soho .
And this is the last location we recommend and we find particularly interesting. Not because of the charm that emanates from this particular area of the British capital, but because Polpo reopens its doors after closing temporarily thrown for improvement. Where there were 28 tables have now expanded to 70, perfect for not having to wait in long lines before. The chef Florence Knight , considered “the golden girl of the kitchen”, I’;ll be at the controls of the restaurant.
That said, if you’;re in London reward yourself and check Polpo in Soho, will not disappoint.
