The designer Gabriel Coch has this whimsical chair tennis balls. I was wondering why he has chosen as an exceptional piece of furniture. Thus, the background story is the following: after a research we used every year 400 million tennis balls in the USA. So to say the tennis balls have very short life because they will quickly disintegrate and lose its pressure force.
The problem is, the tennis balls are not bioabbaufähig and makes us think they end up in the waste depot. To put it more clearly to explain to you – 2 million balls fill out a 747 large aircraft, which has an extent of 32,000 cubic meters.Picture yourself in front of 200 jumbo jets full of tennis balls fill landfills each year fully. It was a perfect choice of Gabriel Coch to use the tennis balls and invent the eco-friendly fabric for the chair frame.
