These original hillside houses are the latest project from the design team at BUILD. Actually there are 2 adjacent apartment buildings that are located in Luque, Paraguay.Built Very unconventional secure the building of an underground feeling of security. As compensation serve the generous floor to ceiling windows that allow natural light pours in non prevents. The sturdy steel beams pass through the entire facade from bottom to top and blend together in a arcade-like roof that adapts sills on the hillside. On the lawn between the 2 houses has a slope not less original outdoor pool is in the shape of a triangle.
The large living room with open floor plan is in the foreground and the bedroom, as well as the garages are hidden in the house interior and provide more privacy. The natural stone wall, framed large parts of the facade, looks very harmonious and provides a good grip and perfect insulation. The lush green hillside almost looks fabulous and the whole thing reminds us of the hobbit houses in the classic film “Lord of the Rings”.
