The Invisible Garden House

Would you like to be summer forever? Who does not! Especially if we were always on vacation! Well, if this is impossible, thanks to a project of Simon Hjermind Jensen is possible to extend the feeling you get during this time of year in your own home.

This is The Invisible Garden House , a kind of home for the garden with a microclimate optimized for both recreational use and greenhouse, built north of Copenhagen, in Denmark, in a private garden. Would you like to know a little more about this interesting project? Well then we give you all the details.

Three spaces connected

The Invisible Garden House has three connected spaces that are heated by the sun in which the indoor temperature can be adjusted with a system of ventilation naturally. The central dome, which is smaller, has a wooden floor, while the other two act as greenhouses for vegetables and flowers.

What is

These domes protect against UV rays, because they are made of polycarbonate. Furthermore, the ventilation of the bottom can be adjusted by rotation of a piece of polycarbonate placed in a pocket, whereas the top is adjusted by opening and closing the windows. It also has nuances and shades to create cables that plants can climb.

A great welcome in Northern Europe

All pieces are designed on a computer, a CNC router and assembled with metal screws. The project cost no more and no less than 18,900 euros but is being very well received for its great potential for private and public spaces in northern Europe.

Would you like to have these domes in your garden so you always have the feeling of being in summer?
